Professor Green tweets about HMV’s closure

Professor Green along with other stars like The Cribs and many more took to Twitter to speak about the music chain HMV’s closure. Professor Green feels that HMV’s closure means people would not be interested to buy music as they would like to download more. He tweeted: ''HMV bankrupt. we may as well just give up on any medium that involves hard copy and get on with it. #sadtimes.''

Trevor Nelson, a well known British Radio DJ took to Twitter and said: ''Horrible to hear about the state of HMV going in to administration. The death of the record store is sad.''

Their closure means more or less 4500 people would loss their jobs as shops all across the United Kingdom would close.

Ross Jarman, the The Cribs drummer, also revealed his concern on the issue. He wrote: “Really sad to hear the HMV news. Where do teenagers spend their pocket money these days? All my school friends were CDs and cigs”

In another tweet, he told: ''I think everyone should go buy a CD from HMV today. They get a little help, and you get AN ALBUM!''

In their official Twitter account, the chain posted: “''With our #hmvBlueCross Sale underway, who took advantage of the 25% off 1000s of products? What did you pick up?”

Graham Coxon, the Blur guitarist, thinks that this is only another chapter in decay of the British high street.
